Spotless rooms, staff was super friendly, and their common area is very nice. Honestly, we’ve been to Japan twice now, and the OMO3 hotels are always top tier. This one is definitely one we will book again in future. Thank you for making our stay so nice!

Room was relative clean and bigger than most. It is in a very quiet area so that is nice. Aeon mall is nearby for shopping and food. There are little take home activities in the lobby later in the evening and free teas. Overall, a great experience and nice hotel to stay at.

The service at OMO3 was so good! Staff were kind and helpful; room was clean and the bathroom was very modern (however watch out for the step ahah I almost tripped). Overall lovely location, 4 mins away from Yoshinoya and 7Eleven, as well as good distance from Kyoto station if you like to walk - or quick bus or train few minutes away.

Great hotel and very Zen, close to a number of transport hubs which is handy to get around Kyoto. Not too many places to eat nearby however the hotel has a great bar and snacks so makes up in that area! Highly recommend it!!

I had a wonderful stay at OMO3 Kyoto Toji by Hoshino Resorts. The hospitality here really stood out. The front desk staff were bilingual, welcoming, and incredibly patient. They even helped me fill out my Yamato luggage forwarding form step-by-step, which I truly appreciated as a first-time visitor navigating Japan. Their support made the process easy and stress-free, and it left a very positive impression. The hotel itself is clean, modern, and peaceful. My room was surprisingly spacious compared to my stays in Tokyo and Osaka, and having a view of Toji Temple right from my window made my time in Kyoto feel even more special. It was a comfortable space to rest and reset after long days exploring the city. The location is excellent—just 1–2 blocks from Toji Station and close to several major bus stops, making transportation simple and reliable. There is also a small lobby food and snack corner, which was perfect for grabbing something quick before heading out or when coming back late. It was a small touch, but genuinely useful during my stay. Overall, I truly enjoyed my time here. Great staff, great rooms, and a great location made this a standout experience. I’m including a brief message in Japanese below so the staff can read my appreciation directly. I would happily stay here again on my next visit to Kyoto. 日本語（スタッフの皆様へ）: とても素晴らしい滞在でした。特に、ヤマト配送の手続きで丁寧にサポートしていただき感謝しています。客室は清潔で広く、窓から見える東寺の景色も素晴らしかったです。立地も便利で快適に過ごせました。本当にありがとうございました。また京都に来る際はぜひ利用します。

We enjoy the 8-night stay in this OMO3 Kyoto Toji hotel. It is a cozy one give tranquil vibe. Easy walk from the hotel to Kyoto JR station for our extensive excursions through out. Just within 4 mins walk to the nearby huge Aeon shopping arcade which can satisfied our local delicacy and Japanese made clothings / accessories shopping needs. The design of the hotel room, the temperature of the room is comfortable and suit tourist's needs. Amenities inside the room is enough for our stay. Overall cleaniness is top of the same tier!

This was one of my favorite places I stayed while on my two week trip. There’s a home-like comfort to the property, from my room to the lobby and it made my stay all the more enjoyable. The rooms were a nice size and the staff were super helpful. The food and beverage area was really well stocked and purchasing items was really easy. Toji Station, Lawson, and lots of shopping were within a 10 minute walk which made getting around super easy. Toji Temple was within walking distance as well which was such a treat and I enjoyed it a lot. I definitely won’t hesitate to book here again the next time I visit the Kyoto area.

It takes around 10-15 minutes walk to Kyoto Station. The room is small but clean, fridge and quick boiler was set as well. You could easily buy yourself breakfast in the first floor. There is a small morning tour you could join for free, but the staff will only speak in Japanese (simple English instructions were provided).
