Nohga Hotel Kiyomizu Kyoto

Nohga Hotel Kiyomizu Kyoto

10/10 Excellent
"This hotel was exceptional! The staff was friendly and accommodating. The location is close to the train station and centrally located to walk to many popular locations. We also had breakfast & dinner there while we stayed, the food was delicious. The roof bar was fun! We also took advantage of using their washer/dryers located on the first floor. They could probably add some more, there was quite a few us doing laundry."

Miyako Hotel Kyoto Hachijo

Miyako Hotel Kyoto Hachijo

8/10 Good
"It’s an economical hotel across the street from Kyoto Station so you have easy access to all the train lines. If you have breakfast included in your room rate, eat at the OMOFU roastery caffe in the basement instead of the buffet. Less choice but fresh made—the truffle scrambled eggs are terrific. The only complaint I have with the hotel-and this cost them a star-is the mattresses. They are more like futons with no springs or foam. My old bones couldn’t handle it and I barely slept. Considering that’s the whole reason for staying at a hotel, I should take more stars off, but if you like sleeping on a rock, you will be happy."

"Great location. Very close to the metro station, shops & restaurants. It had a spa/hot tub but I ran out of time & didn’t get to use it. The beds were comfortable. AC was good. I would stay here again."
