The hotel is in a quiet location, with very little traffic. Yet, there are many eateries around. A convenience store is just two minutes away by walking. Going to the railway station will just take five minutes.

Hotel has quite a late check in (4pm) with no staff at front desk most of the time. Cleanliness was not up to usual Japanese standard - we founda used dental pick & clothing tags on the floor & the shower curtain was mouldy. Location is good, close to Kyoto station. Rooms quite spacious with comfortable firm beds.

The rooms were very accommodating, staff was more than friendly, and rooms were spacious enough for 2 people and luggage. Would definitely recommend and book again here. It's also very close to the kyoto station, about a 7 minute walk. There's also a 7/11 nearby open at all times. They provide razors tooth brushes and clean towels. Entry is electronic to the building via code, and so are the rooms.

Close to the train station, about 5 mins walk. There is no receptionist but in case of issue you can call with the phone outside and they will help out. The laundry was not that clean... price was really good but it is January so everything is cheap

It was quiet during my stay of 7 nights. It was also hard to find the staff, even at the front desk. The cleanliness should be improved, there are spots obviously never touched by cleaners. Bathroom water was big issue. It was uncontrollable, hot then cold and cold then hot, all by itself. The lockable washer is a plus while dryer needs more heat. The area looked safe and it usually took us 12 minutes to walk to the Kyoto Station.
