Quiet, walkable and affordable. This place served it's purpose for quick access to trains, shopping and neighborhood vibes. The place is small.. small... But honestly, it was fine for what we needed. Also, the beds are not the most comfortable which could be a determine factor for some but I thought it was fine.

We stayed for few days only but it was a great accommodation. Friendly staff, easy to check in and check out. The rooms are small but enough space for medium suitcases. I really recommend this stay in Kyoto.

The hotel was very nice and the staff were very friendly. Thank you very much for the wonderful stay. In the rooms tou get a kettle, fridge and 1 ring IH hob. The beds were very comfy.

Our favorite hotel that we've stayed at in Japan! At this point in our trip, we were used to the smaller room and we made it work with our 2 personal items (backpacks), 2 carry ons, and 2 check in luggages. The front desk staff was very helpful, washing machines were free (there is no dryer but the bathroom becomes a dryer with the features they have), less than 10 min walks to Nijo Station, the bus stop, Family Mart, and the local shopping street down the block (great taiyaki, yakiniku, and tea shop). Highly recommend! If we ever return to Kyoto, we'll definitely rebook here.

Everything is accessible near this hotel; food, markets, bus, drugstore, restaurants, you name it. Room is a bit smaller than those in APA hotels for example but it isn't an issue. Check-in is at 4 pm contrary to other hotels that are at 3 pm. Great staff and the place is very clean.

An amazing stay. Friendly and accommodating staff who spoke great English. We especially loved the free laundry and detergent and the fact that the bathroom turned into a dryer!
