Great stay. Josh was so helpful with everything from luggage transfer, to massage and restaurant recommendations. Conveniently located next to the sanjo station, making it easy to get around Kyoto.

Our family would stay here again as the location was great and this apartment hotel had all we needed. Not a fancy full service hotel if you are looking for that. But clean and new and had all you need including an in-room washer. The bath had a nice clothes drying feature to hang your wet clothes in the shower and dry faster.

Clean and spacious room. We were actually upgraded to a family room when we arrived. Our room had kitchen and laundry which was very helpful. Bathroom was spacious too- separate shower and bath tub - perfect to soak your tired body from days of walking tours or sight seeing. Only thing was that the bed (there were 3 beds) was a little soft for our back - queen size bed. Some likes it this way. But the single bed was actually comfortable. Proximity to transportation- this was perfect. Just 5 minute walk to subway station. Staff were accomodating and helpful.

Really enjoyed this stay. The hotel is nice, cozy, and has everything you need for a comfortable visit. Having a washer and dryer was a huge plus, especially for a longer trip. There’s also a small balcony, which was a nice bonus, and the hotel is located on a quiet street while still being very close to public transportation and the river. The room had plenty of space compared to most city hotels, and the amenities were more than adequate. Don’t expect a luxury resort, but for the price, it does a great job. Comfortable, convenient, and a place I’d happily stay at again.

James, the general manager was so friendly and helpful. I really recommend this stay, it is an excellent accommodation, especially for the price. The location is perfect, close to the subway and also bus stop, close to shopping and food. Highly recommend!

Fab find!!

Great find!! I'm astounded what you get for your money. Huge room, by japanese standards, great amenities, friendly, helpful staff with good English. I hugely recommend this place, especially if you are staying more than a few days in Kyoto. Also well located, within walking distance of Gion and many shops across the river. Plenty of places to eat within walking distance, cheap or otherwise. Best place we have stayed in Japan so far.

The bed was very very hard. harder than most in Japan. I've traveled through Asia for 15 years and this ranks as one of the hardest mattresses I've slept on. I sleep on my side and was waking up with numb arms. The 10:00 check out was a bit early. most JP hotels are 11:00. location good and place was super clean tidy and well kept.

キッチン付きが良い

観光地にも繁華街にもアクセスがとても良いです。 普通のホテルと違ってキッチンがあって有料で食器類も借りられます。スーパーも近くにあるので長期滞在にとても良いと思いました。

Great value in a convenient location

Great location and sizable rooms for the price. Walking distance to Nishiki market (15 mins), Gion (5 mins), and to Kiyamizu Dera (25 mins). A/C worked great in the summer. Staff was extremely nice and spoke English. Only downside is that the mattresses and pillows in the rooms are extremely firm - probably the firmest I've ever experienced in my travels. I had packed a travel pillow and ended up using that. Wifi was a bit spotty and on the slow side.

Praktisch ist, dass es im Zimmer eine kleine Küche, einen Tisch, zwei Stühle und eine Waschmaschine gibt. Man bekommt gegen eine geringe Gebühr auch Teller, Tassen und Töpfe. Die Rezeption ist nur kurze Zeit besetzt, aber die Lage zum Zentrum und zur Bahn ist sehr gut.

We stayed here in early March, so the price was quite reasonable.Very roomy and wide beds. Love the little kitchen so we can cook simple meals when you didn't want to go out for dinner. Glad the hotel provided the cooking set. The place was clean and close to station, there was a supermarket close by.
