This was a great little fine. The location was fantastic right in the heart of Gion- one of the Geisha districts. It was easily a number of historic sites and temples, and a lot of great shopping and restaurants. The rooms were a little on the smaller size, but they were very clean and comfortable, and the rates were very affordable overall a good hotel in a great location.

Great place to stay for NYE. Near temples and a short 15 mins walk to the main strip in Kyoto. There are a few love hotels around so maybe not a family area. Also a good 10-15 mins walk to the popular Gion Edo strip that leads to the most photographed temples

Hidden gem in Kyoto

Loved our stay here! Fantastic location. It is away from the very busy street but close enough to all the main attractions. The hotel was nice and clean. Beds were comfortable. The rooms are more spacious than your typical Japan hotel. Our flight was very delayed and we were worried that we wouldn’t be able to check in, based on the hotels strict no check in after midnight policy. We were very grateful that staff waited for us to check in.

Probably one of our favourite hotel rooms from our Japan trip! We were very pleasantly surprised by the size. It was a good amount of space; much bigger than some of the rooms we’ve stayed in here. It was very clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly. Would have appreciated laundry facilities as well but small price to pay for a great stay.
