This one exceeded my expectations. I paid a reasonable price for the rooms and got what felt like a 4/5 star hotel experience. The facility is beautiful and rooms have awesome lighting. Most hotels I stayed in in Japan had smart lighting, but this hotel really did a great job with hue and brightness.

There is nothing negative to say about this hotel. Everything was perfect. The location was great with close proximity to Gojo train station. The breakfast was very good but make sure you arrive early enough so you have time to sit down and have a relaxed meal as you have to leave by 10 am on the dot. A special shout out to Ryuichiro who welcomed us for breakfast with a big genuine smile. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay a very pleasant one.

Rooms are clean and come with essentials like razors and toothbrushes and extra chargers. Vouchers for free breakfast buffet are given for every day of stay, and the food is good! One stop from Kyoto station so very convenient. Also walkable to nishiki market and major shopping. Staff was helpful with forwarding luggage to Tokyo. Would stay again

Our stay at the Keio Prelia Hotel Kyoto was great. It is conveniently located a 5 minute walk from Gojo station (along the Karasuma Lina) and only one station away from Kyoto station or a 20 minute walk from Kyoto station. A family mart is located 1 min away as well as several other food options within a 15 min walk. The staff were super nice and were able to accommodate our luggage before and after check-in. The facilities were clean and amenities were well kept. The room was bright, quiet, spacious, and very clean. The had an awesome shower as well!! Would definitely stay again when visiting Kyoto.

The room was clean, lobby did not have a lounge. They ask you to come down and get extra toiletries. The breakfast was pretty good but did not change the menu at all. The same exact menu everyday. Also, the bed was soft , I prefer a harder mattress . The area was great to get around and the hotel is not in the busiest location but real easy access to everything

Everything was perfect, it had all the amenities you could think of. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The location was just walking distance from the metro station and the sights around the hotel were beautiful as well. A convenience store next door, was also great to have. The room has smart tv and was more spacious than other hotels in Japan. I would 100% recommend and will be returning on future trips to Japan!
