Great hotel

Great hotel, conveniently located just outside kyoto station. Very clean, spacious rooms and free toiletries (lots of skin care/ hair care options). Staff are so friendly and helpful. 7-11 in lobby.

Loved this hotel. It is conveniently across the street from Kyoto Station (a major station), the room is packed with all of the best top of the line toiletrie ammenities and the most soft and comfortable pair of pajamas. I loved the bed and the bathroom is GORGEOUS. This is a MUST stay if int he Kyoto area. Also, take advantage of the 711 store in their first floor, grab a few drinks and bites when in a rush or for any long day trips.

Very nice stay at Daiwa. Not only is the 7 eleven downstairs conviient but I choose it because it is a short walk from Kyoto station. The room was also a great size in for two couples, we had a small suitcase and a large one. We were able to spread both of them to use. The tolitires were great and the bathroom with the tub was nice, was able to soak in there twice during my stay it was very nice. I would stay here again when visiting Kyoto.

Best place to stay if you are visiting Kyoto. Close to Kyoto station, ultra modern and clean units. Well stocked with lots of amenities. Staff is very friendly and is good at communicating in English. Breakfast was good, more Japanese focused than American focused. Don't expect a make your own waffle machine or vials of frosted flakes here. Best bang for the buck in my opinion.

The hotel is basic but very clean and well maintained. The staff was very nice and the location relative to the train station outstanding. The only frustration upon arrival was that there are at least 4 hotels with the name "Daiwa Roynet" in very close proximity to the train station. We went to 3 different hotels before finally finding the correct hotel. Even a native speaking Japanese Uber driver was initially confused by this.
