It was cheap and the pool was lovely.... no buffet breakfast though

Staff were fab, grounds were lovely, rooms were big. I had a very small burn on my leg from a bad wax job, and the scab came off on last night in bed, leaving a small smear of blood on sheets. We couldn’t check out until I paid $64 fee. Gobsmacked. Will not stay again nor recommend.

Nice hotel - shame about the management approach!

There's much more to a good hotel than nice rooms and surrounding gardens - we chose this hotel specifically for its pool, bar and restaurant (off photos), as we wanted a nice chill-out day in/by the pool before we flew home. On arrival, they demanded $50 for pool towels! The Manager would not discuss this with us, until we gave up and paid! Then he simply told us "That is the way it is!" This kind of service is not service! And no such fee was advertised! After checking in we went to the pool - green and slimy! They told us it would be fine the next day - but it wasn't! They knew little about pool chemical maintenance. Net result - rude management and no pool meant we used another hotel's facilities and spent our remaining 2 million Rupiah (A$200) there instead. Other guests we met held the same views on the hotel manager!
