"This beautiful home is what us Alaskans call a true luxury gem! When i hit retirement age, this is the type of home and location i would love to wake up to everyday! My family thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay. We saw black bears in the yard 4 out of 7 days of our stay. There was a big bull moose in the little valley below the back deck then a cow moose the next day. That being said, do not take the breathtaking views for granted. "I had the opportunity to stay at this beautiful cabin while working in Wasilla for the week. My husband and i loved having such a beautifully appointed homebase to enjoy. Ben was an amazing host, the property had everything we needed and the wildlife consisting of foxes and rabbits were an added bonus. Beautiful sunsets and so many places to explore in the area. I travel often for work and this has been my favorite VRBO rental by far. I hope we get to come back someday for vacation!"

"We live in a similar cozy house in the woods, and we felt right at home in the Snowshoe Cabin! Everything we needed was there. The seclusion was wonderful. I couldn’t imagine staying in a hotel when this option is available. A bit out of town, but absolutely worth the drive to get out of the din and garish lights of town!"

Suggestions-kitchen needs glasses, better cooking utensils (kept falling off handles), more than 1 ice tray, baking or cookie sheet, tv tray tables for dining since there is only 1 stool for eating at counter, blinds for 2 big windows in living room like ones in bedroom for someone who is sleeping on futon, large mirror for bedroom to allow guest to get...
