"Roaches every night, to the point my mom killed one on accident in the night with her water bottle on the night stand. Bathroom shower was peeling and stained. Half the pools were closed or blocked off. Nobody ever came to clean, let alone make beds or swap out towels. Room smelled weird? Not ADA accessible, which is sad because I had to help 2 elderly people in walkers down the stairs from the ground floor since there weren't any ramps. They also charged $250 in hidden resort fees at check-in, even though they confirmed I had paid in full ahead of time?? Overall Outrigger is definitely not anywhere I'll ever stay again on any island. Avoid."

"The owner should inform guests that the common area of the property was being extensively remodeled, causing a lot of noise and confusion for us as guests. The main floor was being renovated, closing off most of the restaurant, all of the lounge area, some of the lobby and check-in area, and closing all of the guest laundry facility. There was a lot of noise coming up through the floor and outside noise coming up to the balcony from below because the work crew was using tools that created very loud noises, such as pounding and power tools noises. Inconvenience and that lack of peace were a major problem during our stay. The pool had no heat; it was nice to look at. Management never returned request for contact Disappointed, James Wallace"

"Robert's place was comfortable and close to everything we wanted to get to in the Lihue and Poipu area, including our favorite golf courses.He was quick to answer any questions we had and very fair and prompt in all correspondence. Thank you Robert"

"Beautiful view of the pool and beach. Weather was perfect. Room clean and convenient to elevators. Mid week cleaning service was a bonus too. We will be back again soon! "

"My fiance Maria and I had the most amazing time at our stay at the Outrigger Kauai Beach Resort. We had a beautiful room on the third floor that had ocean view and looked out onto the beautiful grassy area next to the Resort. We enjoyed a really nice dinner at the restaurant onsite called Naupaka Terrace where we had the Fish and Chips and Grilled Korean Beef Short Ribs. During the day we spent time at all four pools and I enjoyed the waterslide. Super fun slide!Parking was really easy and close to our room. Every amenity at the Resort was within close proximity to our room and that made for really convenient transitions from one event to another. Megan, Sadie and Jean were so nice at the Front Desk and were always there in case we needed assistance with our room. We really enjoyed our stay and cannot wait to come back next year. "

"Just barely could see the ocean but the view was still nice. Parking was expensive but so glad we had a car. Would like to have had a tv channel guide not just on the tv which we had to search for. It was nice having a refrig and coffee maker with coffee which was mighty tasty."

"Lovely stay even with all the rain. Ate breakfast everyday at the restaurant and George was our server~we fell in love with him. He was always smiling and so friendly and gave us some great ideas on places to go. All of the staff was very accommodating and friendly. "
