"Room was clean and tidy. When we did let housekeeping in, they did a wonderful job changing the sheets and all clean towels. They even cleaned a bit too. We took full advantage of the valet services. The hotel lot was always parked full in the evenings, so the fact that they had complimentary valet service was a major win! The lava lava club restaurant was awesome too! Beautiful views to sit outside, and they had live music one night which the lady did awesome! It was nice that the beach was right there too, my husband and I only swam there a few times but it was nice to be so close to the ocean without being too close. The pool and hot tub was a nice thing. We noticed the shower for getting the sand off a bit too late, but we did utilize it. They have water and refilling stations too around the place, and ice. The one downside is that the laundry is quarters only. We don’t generally carry much cash and it seemed like a few extra unnecessary steps just to get some things clean that we could take home dirty too. But all in all an amazing job experience and we’d stay again!"

"Great location to swim in the ocean at anytime due to the beach cove. Walking distance to restaurants, local markets and trails along the shore. The hotel itself and the rooms are a little on the older side but bathrooms are renovated and are a good size. Staff members are professional. Housekeeping staff is very helpful and friendly. One downside, the restaurant is only open for breakfast and the beach bar is missing some more healthy food options on their menu."

"This home was absolutely perfect for our stay! Even better than the pictures showed- beautifully decorated with high end products like Pottery Barn, Tommy Bahama, and Dyson. This unit had the most well stocked kitchen I’ve ever seen in vacation rental! I really couldn’t have asked for a better appointed kitchen to cook anything we needed to. The unit was very clean, so comfortable, and just perfect for us. Absolutely incredible view that the pictures barely captured!! The location was convenient to all of the stores, excursions, and shops we wanted to visit. We were able to walk to the beach and next door to play frisbee golf. My only complaint was there was no way to lock or bolt the front door- ZERO lock on the handle or inside. This was honestly shocking considering how thoughtful the rest of the condo was done. The only thing keeping people from walking in was a key pad on the outside of the door. Please bring along your own locking mechanism from Amazon because this is not safe- in fact after we checked in and were getting settled a woman walked right in the front door and into the kitchen to look at a few things, which scared my kids and me (there was no knock or anything that was said), so we kept a chair wedged up against the door when we were home. Everything else was perfect and I would love to stay here again, but it is very shocking to me that there is no lock on the inside of the door! "

"The photos in the listing were inaccurate, showing view from a second floor unit. This is why I booked this ocean view property. However we were given a first floor unit and told we couldn’t rely on the photos. Very clean. Comfortable bed and good water pressure in shower. Shower was warm but couldn’t get a hot shower."

"My fiance Maria and I had the most amazing time at our stay at the Outrigger Kauai Beach Resort. We had a beautiful room on the third floor that had ocean view and looked out onto the beautiful grassy area next to the Resort. We enjoyed a really nice dinner at the restaurant onsite called Naupaka Terrace where we had the Fish and Chips and Grilled Korean Beef Short Ribs. During the day we spent time at all four pools and I enjoyed the waterslide. Super fun slide!Parking was really easy and close to our room. Every amenity at the Resort was within close proximity to our room and that made for really convenient transitions from one event to another. Megan, Sadie and Jean were so nice at the Front Desk and were always there in case we needed assistance with our room. We really enjoyed our stay and cannot wait to come back next year. "

"Just barely could see the ocean but the view was still nice. Parking was expensive but so glad we had a car. Would like to have had a tv channel guide not just on the tv which we had to search for. It was nice having a refrig and coffee maker with coffee which was mighty tasty."

"Terrific view of the ocean. We saw whales breaching from the condo. The place was clean and a good location, close toLihue and close by Lydgate park has protected beach area for the kids."
