"Absolutely amazing experience staying in this B&B. The owners were accommodating and even provided a tour of the home for us while we stayed. We received a "Sanitation" kit which included masks, sanitizer, gloves, etc for our use. Home cooked breakfast was delightful and better than you would get at any diner in the area (we know, we've been to most of them). The rooms were immaculate, clean, and comfortable. The bathroom was almost spa-like with the standalone bathtub and night light mood...

"The stay was good. The many requests to review are not. The texting...not. I understand the importance of reviews to merchants and business people. But give the customer a moment to breathe. I did not stay at this b&b. My wife and son did. I forwarded the first two requests for review to my wife. She is very busy. I am very busy. I hope I've made my concerns clear. "

"My husband had surgery at Pennshlvania Hospital. He was supposed to leave same-day but had a few issues. He was stahing overnight. So I asked staff where to stay. The Morris House is 5 min away on foot. I checked into the historic hotek and was given a tour. The courtyard is beautiful! Red brick lovliness. My room is great with a bathroom almost as large as the bedroom. First thing I did was draw a bath in the jetted tub, throw in the bath salts left for me...and relaxed. First time in 12 hrs.I...

"Beautiful and welcoming. The entire property is managed with care and the hosts are lovely. The craftsmanship of the wood and tile in the house were artful and the decor showed a lifetime of travel. We really felt like guests, not customers. "

"The house is lovely. Brian was an excellent and attentive host. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was recently remodeled. There were snacks and wine, tea, and water available in the evening. Because the room I was in did not have an en suite bathroom (although the bathroom was private), bathrobes were provided. I understand that most rooms in the house have en suite bathrooms. Limited parallel parking was available on the street at night; daytime parking was limited to 2 hours from 9 am...

Their home as well as the setting is very peaceful and relaxing but in close proximity to all area attractions. Breakfast was beautifully presented and delicious. "The property was in very nice condition, well kept grounds even in winter. Updated decor felt airy and fresh. Our room (springhouse 3) was comfortable and clean, pretty views from the balcony, fireplace was great to have on the 2 nights we stayed in mid february. I might recommend the property considers having a small rug/shoe mat for the winter months. We used one of our own towels for our snowy/muddy shoes do that we didn’t track that throughout the room. "Great affordable place nearby Chinatown and within a mile of the city center of Philadelphia. The place is very groovy with their vintage furniture, atari, and record player. Bathroom is clean, beds are comfy with foam underneath, wooden floors. cons- curtains are not dark enough to block out sun light, walls are thin as we could smell someone cooking steak throughout the place for the entire night, and I guess floors are thin as you can hear footsteps above. overall good place if you are a...
