"My wife and I had a great stay at this property for a 4-day visit to the Lake District and could not have been happier. It's located on a quiet street of homes and guest houses, but is a short walk to the center of Keswick as well as my new favorite movie theater, the Alhambra Cinema, and our now-beloved local, the Dog & Gun Pub. It's also walkable to hikes at Skiddaw and Catbells.
Our room on the first floor was spacious and comfortable with a nice bed for sleeping after an active day. Our main contacts at the property were with Lucy and Graham both of whom were very friendly and helpful particularly with places to hike and see in the area. Also, a special shoutout to Milla who warmly greeted us in the breakfast area our first morning.
As for the breakfast, it was among the very best we have ever had and richly deserves the numerous awards it has received.
We fell in love with Keswick and would absolutely stay at the Edwardene again. We highly recommend the Edwardene!"
