"Had a lovely stay and the town centre is literally around the corner the breakfast was as good as they say! Staff was great Only fault is the parking which but thankfully we managed to get a space right out side every night"

"As a first time visitor to the Borrowdale Gates Hotel I have to say what a wonderful experience. The location was perfect with access to many hiking trails. The staff were pleasant and very attentive to our needs, the facilities including the restaurant were excellent, serving very high quality food. After spending several days at the Hotel I am convinced we will be returning. From two happy customers."

"Lovely clean room & the staff were all very helpful and friendly. The only thing to note was I had to ask for towels, because none were left out, but other than that we had a very lovely stay here and would definitely come back. Breakfast was fantastic, can't say anything negative about this place, it was a great over night stay. Thanks very much!"
