"Great property. The location is nice, however not being beachfront or having a private beach area is the downfall of this. The public beach area gets very crowded. To rent chairs at a private beach area is $50 for half a day. I wish I would have gotten a beachfront hotel w/private beach access. I didn't realize so much of Destin was private beach areas. However, I did really like this hotel. Nice amenities and a good breakfast if you get down there early. "

Waffles, biscuits, gravy, sausage, a variety of pastries, etc. staff was very helpful when I needed something. Across the street from the harbor and there were several restaurants close by. "
