"This was our third time staying at Mackworth House Farm and, as ever, Peter was the perfect host. The room was clean, tidy and spacious with a beautiful view of the garden. Check-in process was quick, and Peter was on hand to answer any questions we had. The breakfast options were plentiful, and there was a lovely pub a short distance away for evening meals/drinks. Can highly recommend for those wanting to stay in and around the Peak District."
"Very convenient location to Derby city, walkable to cathedral, shopping centre. Staff were great, room was very comfortable and clean. Would stay again."
"Excellent value for money - superb restaurant on site and breakfast was fantastic. Plenty of parking but access very steep and can be tricky with uneven surface. Lighting went out in the shower (circuit/blown bulb) so had to use the torch on my iPhone"
"The room was spacious, and provides was a complimentary breakfast and beverages to drink.
The ensuite is a nice large size.
Car parking can be a bit of a squeeze if there are guests with cars staying in all of the flats.
There was good friendly communication with the owner most of the time.
The WiFi was working, but for some reason not the smart TV. Maybe a previous guest messed it up.
The house is on a good bus route, with a stop across the road and regular buses into Derby city...
"The lift was out of order while I was there, there was also a strong smell of drains or babies nappies along the corridor. The room itself was adequate and the bed was clean and comfortable. "
"Amazing apartment lovely and clean with everything you need.
Location was perfect plenty of bars and restaurants and central for the shops, Easy to park near by, communication was fab no messing, thanks for a great stay x"
