It's not in the touristy part of town. It will place you in the midst of the locals, and it is a bit dusty and dirty, at times. I've not been to the rest of the city yet. Half the people on the streets will wear a dust mask, maybe a bit less than half. It's from the plethora of dirt roads that can get quite dry and dusty at times. The hotel is across the street from a major temple which I think is a pilgrimage site. Mahade is another name for the Hindu god, Shiva.
