"This is a beautiful place in a very cool historic district. We really enjoyed our stay. The house was extremely clean and well equipped and the beds were very comfortable and it has great water pressure Jose Cuervo lives next-door, which is kind of cool. "

"I booked this for a weekend football game and my wife and two small children were to arrive on Saturday and I would join them on Sunday morning. My wife called me crying and said she did not feel safe in this neighborhood with just her and the two kids. Unfortunately I was two states away and could not get there any earlier. She ended up staying at a hotel. "
"Great location for Mayo visits, simple and functional condo with a few drawbacksMy husband and I stayed at this 1-bedroom condo in downtown Jacksonville while receiving care at the Mayo Clinic. Overall, it was a cost-effective and simple place to stay, and while we appreciated several thoughtful features, there were some important details future guests should be aware of — especially around parking, amenities, and building maintenance.Pros:- The condo itself is clean, functional, and uncluttered. The refrigerator and microwave were spotless, and everything in the unit worked as expected.- Double blackout curtains in the east-facing bedroom window were a thoughtful touch that helped with rest.- The furniture was in good shape, and we had no issues with comfort or layout.- Cost-effective for the location and perfect for a couple or even a small family (I believe there’s a sleeper sofa, though we didn’t use it).- The property manager was very responsive and courteous, which we appreciated during our stay.- Our interactions with long-term tenants in the building were pleasant — they were friendly and helpful, especially when it came to figuring out parking.Notes for Future Guests:Parking:- This was the most frustrating part of the stay.- The VRBO listing didn’t include any info about parking, which turned into a daily hassle.- There’s metered street parking, but the three meters we used didn't properly — tenants recommended downloading the app. The meters are .02"
"Two couples (2 children) had plenty of space for a weekend trip! Parking was a breeze, as well as the check-in process! The front porch was where we spent most of our time when we were not out and about! A quiet neighborhood made for some nice relaxation time. Inside, the bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious, VERY comfortable mattresses; we slept like babies. Communicating with the Eric, the property manager, was easy and he was very accommodating. We would absolutely stay again! "
