    The 'hotel' was unhelpful with allowing us to leaving our luggage in the property earlier in the day before the late check in time. This meant we had to carry around our bags to the wedding we were attending. This was particularly unhelpful. Also when we did arrive at the property, it wasn't clear exactly where the keys were, and which lock box contained them. After a very long day traveling and attending the wedding I was kneeling down in the dark trying to unlock a padlock to get into the room. My hands got covered in greasy dirt and then it turned out to be the wrong padlock! …

    I liked the atmosphere and vibe of the place. The bedroom with double bed could be very very small for more than one person, as there wasn’t even enough room to open your luggage and move around the bed. The walls did need some touching up and some shade for the high windows would be good, as I was there in summer when the sun rises at 4.30am. But the bed and pillows were comfortable; shower and toilets were always kept clean, and there was a washing machine provided with free detergent. There’s also a soba restaurant and bar on the first level which was highly received by the locals. Great place for dinner and drinks.…
