The icing of the cake... Or the smooth cream of the parfait in my view. I can understand why people come here again and again for the food. It is also by far the best ryokan experience and best customer service. They are very prompt, helpful, friendly, and go beyond the expectations. Dinner is essentially a kaiseki, top of the class Japanese fine dining experience. The private onsen is a must, in particular during cherry blossoms for a romantic experience. The place was very roomy, with high...

Beautiful hotel, room was great and really big compared to other Japanese hotels I stayed in. Great, convenient location.

Hotel the flag is in a super convenient location. We could easily travel around Osaka on the metro and the SHINSAIBASHI shopping street was right next door with great shopping. Would stay here again.

If I could give this place 10 stars I would. An incredible experience that I will always remember. I cannot think of anything that was not exceptional.

Absolutely beautiful hotel , the service is great , there is a beautiful onsen and a delicious free snack bar . The hotel has a.well equipped gym and several laundry machines , it is not.very central but it is not far away either from the main attractions , plus there js a subway station only few meters away . Highly recommended it

Hotel Emion in Kyoto offered us a great all round experience for a decent price, the public baths are a good alternative to the onsets give the price, food and accommodation were decent. Location was really good- close to most things (20-25 ) min train ride.

This hotel is amazing! Not only clean and quiet and very modern but perfectly positioned close to all of the metro / train stations and hundreds of dinings options. The main road is great and bustling but also take the time to drop back one or two streets and explore the more traditional stores and eateries, it’s like a different city! I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kyoto!

Beautiful property, well-located next to subway and short walk to downtown and Gion. Rooms decent size and very comfortable beds. Staff lovely. Overall great stay.

Very nice

Excellent location and connectivity. Modern amenities with a nod to tradition

Friendly staff, heritage building and handy kitchen area for use of guests.

Great location one stop or 15mins walk from Osaka station. Super comfy and luxe hotel.

Great hotel with convenient location - clean, modern and friendly staff. We stayed in the 2 x double bed room with small living area and was pleasantly surprised by the size of the room, especially for Japan. The shower was great + there was a bath tub (great for soaking after a long day of walking). If you want to be close to Dontoburi, this hotel is about 15-20 min walk away, which can be a bit tiring to walk home after a long day. Only downside is the hotel does not have a gym (for those who...

Very modern and clean.

Very affordable and decent 3-star hotel with great service, facilities and a range of convenience stores/malls nearby. Quite spacious compared to other hotels we stayed in Japan, very good value. Highly recommend it.

Wonderfully appointed hotel with very comfortable, good sized rooms. Lounge & bar area are welcoming & tasteful. Location is excellent, being only minutes away from Kyoto station. Lots of food options within the vicinity as well. Staff are helpful & friendly.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The onsen experience was relaxing and the hotel was close (10min walk) to Kyoto station. We got daily room clean, it was clean. I had allergies to something inside the room… sneezing constantly.
