Huge And Beautiful 3Br/3Ba With Breathtaking Oceanviews & In-Room Bathtubs

The spacious 2,140 sqft (199 sqm) upper unit of the 2 story house can be yours. The downstairs unit is usually occupied by the owner.
Two Master bedroom suites and a 3rd bedroom offer some privacy even in small groups.
The living area opens up to the lanai (addtl. 700 sqft - 65 sqm), which most people on Hawaii use like a regular room - in this case with great views and well ventilated.
Two TV sets feature 300+ channels. There is a Tablet-Computer for you free to use, loaded with games, Netflix, Youtube or others to stream to TV or sound system.
Bring your laptop if you must, WLAN is pretty solid and fast (that's not a given on other parts of the island). Or use the brand new Tablet for internet access.
Enjoy your daily smoothie and coffee using the high quality blender and coffee machine.
I have a 5 year old daughter and I´m happy to let you use most of her stuff if you bring your kid(s): play kitchen, bike, scooter, high chair, stools to reach the sinks, etc. Basically all the stuff you don´t really want to bring on a plane!
Let´s talk before you get here, I can also leave the beach wagon for you (as you may know, taking the kids to the beach is like moving an army, so this wagon is worth it´s weight in gold!).
Beach toys (Boogie Boards, Snorkel Gear, Umbrella, Cooler, etc) is provided free of charge.

Did not like the hundreds of geckos/lizards and roaches

My husband and I visited Kona for our 20th Wedding Anniversary with 2 other couples. We were overwhelmed by the number of geckos inside and outside of the house. It was difficult to enjoy the property...without air conditioning we had to keep the screened windows and doors open, which was an open invitation for geckos and flying roaches. It was so unsettling, we seriously considered moving to a hotel. In addition, a number of the screens were not properly sealed, which allowed geckos to easily enter the inside of the home. Outside of the geckos and roaches, Marcus and Sol were responsive and easy to work with (always only a text message away).

Top Notch Paradise!

We spent the second half of our Hawaii vacation on the Big Island and could not have asked for a better experience in Marcus's house! The panoramic views are breathtaking, and the lanai was my absolute favorite spot to be. We had a sunset BBQ on the lanai that was indescribable. In addition to several beach days, we visited the black sand beach in the south and Hilo. Each day always ended with complete relaxation in this home. Air conditioning is not needed whatsoever as mornings are cool, and there is always a fantastic breeze coming through the house. The house was very clean. You can expect to see occasional geckos running around, but you just have to get used to them as they are natural inhabitants on the island and unavoidable! I would highly recommend this house to any family looking to have an awesome stay on the Big Island! I would absolutely return! Mahalo!

Perfect for family

Large 3 bedroom property, as described. We went with siblings and a 5 year old. Beautiful view, comfortable. The blinds need replacing though. Marcus/Monica left us a nice welcome basket :). Marcus was very nice and responsive. Having access to beach gears was really great.

Nice place to relax

Comfortable and clean. The sunsets were glorious from the lanai and the beds were quite comfortable. Marcus couldn't have been more accommodating.

Wunderschöne Wohnung mit toller Aussicht

Wir verbrachten wunderschöne Tage in dieser tollen und geräumigen Wohnung. Wir fühlten uns gleich wie zu Hause. Die Wohnung war sehr gut ausgestattet und mit Liebe eingerichtet. Mit der Dokumentation in der Wohnung und auch den persönlichen Tipps vom Besitzer bekamen wir viele nützliche Hinweise. Unsere Jungmannschaft war begeistert über die elektronische Einrichtung. Zwei Schlafzimmer sind ganz toll und am Morgen mit dem Blick aufs Meer aufzuwachen war schon gewaltig. Leider ist das dritte Schlafzimmer gefangen und ohne Fenster. Unsere Jungs fanden es nicht schlimm, da es dafür einen eigenen TV hatte ;-). Wir können diese Wohnung mit so netten und zuvorkommenden Besitzern nur wärmstens empfehlen.

Clean! Quiet! Cosy!

House was very nice and clean. Towel, cooking tools, cable TV.. everything was ready to use. And it takes about 10min to town and airport.

Beautiful Home on Big Island

Highly recommend staying here. Beautiful home and wonderful host, Marcus. He was very helpful and made our stay much more enjoyable. He was quick to answer questions and accommodate us in any way possible. We look forward to visiting again.

Great Tropical View

This was our first VRBO rental. Our extended family of 8 loved it. It was great to come home and relax on the huge lanai after a day at the beach or sightseeing. The 2 master bedrooms is a great touch. If you're headed to the big island, this is the place to stay!

Beautiful, spacious home with gorgeous view of coastline

This home is nestled in a residential neighborhood with a gorgeous view of the coastline. Sunsets were stunning. The home has two luxurious bedrooms on opposite ends of the home with a very spacious, open cozy living area and kitchen in the middle. It is exceptionally clean and well-maintained with plenty of hot water and pressure, especially in the master bedroom double-headed shower! Marcus was extremely accommodating and responsive to any questions or requests. We felt well-cared for and welcomed by our host as we arrived to a chilled bottle of wine, snacks and fresh fruit. Marcus utilizes technology to its fullest and provides a tablet with updated instructions and a very helpful guide to restaurants, shopping, and sightseeing. We followed many of his recommendations and were quite pleased! Great coffee and local dining nearby. Awesome trail running and tide pools along miles of beaches at the coastline just a few miles from the house. Marcus had everything we needed for trips to the beach: towels, snorkels, beach chairs, coolers. We would recommend this home to our friends and family and would love to come back again!
