The hotel is perfectly positioned for a view of Sakurajima, if you get a room with the Sakurajima view. Parking is not in the same building, but the parking building behind the hotel. Hotel guests get a discounted rate for parking. There aren't too many restaurants nearby, but there is a great supermarket nextdoor if you don't want to walk to find a restaurant. The staff were super friendly and helpful.

A must place to stay if visiting Kagoshima needing easy access to train station, trams to get around the city and the airport bus. Just across the road from Kagoshima-Chou station, with underground access and above road covered walkway if raining.
Best way to get to/from airport is with the airport bus for a 40 min ride. The hotel is in the same building as the bus, with exceptionally easy access. No problems with noise or security as rooms start on level 8. Reception is on level 7 with card...
