"A unique property with exceptional views and natural surroundings. Well kept greenery, and grounds. Though it is a higher-end hotel, they left us without power from early evening into the late morning next day, so no heating (and you need it in the Carmel area even during the summer). The reception-desk staff was not forthcoming addressing our lack of morning coffee and power, so I did not feel really appreciated. Otherwise happy we had a chance to spend a few nights there. Memorable."

"Round tripped up to the Big Sur from San Diego and ideally needed a pet friendly spot to stay at for a night. They had 3 small areas for pets which was very nice. Room was a lot bigger then i thought it was going to be!"
