"This place is really lovely and quiet. The views are amazing! Despite the loss of their restaurant they did provide some fruit, blueberry bread, boiled eggs and some other items for breakfast. It's a long drive in either direction for food so be prepared with snacks as the only way to cook is with a small microwave oven. The staff were very nice and provided us with additional coffee when asked. I can't wait to get back to Lucia Lodge, it is a special place."
Premium Central Big Sur location, pool & spa, spectacular south views, 5 acres
10/10 Excellent
"This is an amazing home with spectacular views. Host was very communicative when I had trouble checking in. Home is right in the heart of Big Sur and was easy to access state parks, trailheads and restaurants. If we ever come back to the area we will be sure to check this property out again."
"We really loved our stay with one exception. A woodpecker would wake us up daily between 6am-6:30am pecking loudly on the outside of our suite (#58). We asked if anything could be done but there wasn’t and it was a common occurrence. We would love to go back if we can be sure we could sleep in."
"My husband and I just returned from a 2 night stay at Post Ranch Inn and we were extremely satisfied with our stay. The staff goes above and beyond from the moment you arrive until you leave. The grounds are immaculately kept and there are plenty of activities to keep you busy while staying at the inn. The restaurant was amazing for both breakfast and dinner. I really cannot say enough about the service. We just hope that we can make or back again in the future."
Gorgeous Secluded Treehouse with Spectacular Views
10/10 Excellent
"A very unique and secluded location with access to hiking trails right on the property. Kitchen was well equipped and included some essentials in pantry. Abundant wildlife was scene outside windows and doors. The deck also provided entertainment with dart board and fire pit. Many other house features and amenities were included making this a memorable stay."
"Is cabin was close to Highway one which allowed us to go wherever we wanted? We liked that it was nestled in the woods met all the redwood trees. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was adequate. The seating outside was great. We would recommend this to any anyone interested"
Gated Carmel Valley Retreat with 20 Acres, Pool & Hot Tub
10/10 Excellent
"The pictures of this property do not do it justice! The views from the deck are so stunning, and the house itself is lovely. There were SO many beautiful views and a ton of wildlife. Highly recommend bringing binoculars! We had a group of six and all slept comfortably with one of us using the pull out couch, which is in a small but private and cozy room next to the kitchen. The pull out couch was surprisingly comfortable. I will say, the layout of the house is slightly awkward particularly due to the one bedroom with the angled ceiling and the tight layout of the downstairs bathroom, but it was manageable. My only other note is that we were disappointed that the pool was VERY cold. We made use of the hot tub, which was fantastic, but would have liked to use the pool more as well. There is such a stunning view on that level of the deck.Overall, highly recommend and hope to return in the future!!"
