The best time to visit Johannesburg CBD is during the dry winter months, from May to September, or the shoulder seasons of April and October.During the dry winter, you'll experience clear skies and pleasant daytime temperatures, typically ranging from 15°C to 20°C. This makes exploring the city's outdoor attractions, such as the Apartheid Museum or the Constitution Hill Precinct, much more comfortable without the humidity or frequent afternoon thunderstorms of summer. Evenings can be cool, so a light jacket or jumper is advisable. The shoulder seasons of April and October also offer good weather conditions. April transitions from summer to winter, bringing mild temperatures and less rain. October, on the other hand, sees the start of warmer weather before the full summer rains set in, often with vibrant purple jacaranda trees in bloom across the city.
