"Room was very clean and comfortable. There was enough toiletries, and coffee/tea supplies, and was able to cook a basic meal, as a cooking hotplate was included in the room, with pots, electric frypan, crockery, and cutlery. Only negative to our 3 night stay, was that the weather was warm enough for a swim, yet the pool was closed, due to waiting on some kind of permission, from local council. Coles Reddy servo, and also 7eleven servo across the road, but fairly pricey, I'd recommend getting food supplies from supermarkets in Midland, which are only a few minutes drive from Big 4. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and price was very reasonable for our room. Would definately consider staying again. "

"We arrived on a wet, cold wintry afternoon to the glow of a crackling fire. The home was warm, spotless, spacious with quality in every detail. And the view - misty hills, rolling clouds, better than any photo could capture. Everything we needed was provided, making it perfect."

"We found it was cheaper to rent this cottage outside of Perth as compared to booking an apartment in town. How nice is it to wake to the lovely chirping of birds, surrounded by a fully working and active vineyard. So peaceful. Sunsets and sun rises on the deck were amazing. Being greeted by the hosts 2 beautiful dogs was a treat also. Oh and of course, just minutes away from all the local wineries. Freeways and highways are very accessible for the drive anywhere, so driving into Perth was easy. Highly recommend staying here."

"We had the most amazing stay! The property is absolutely stunning and The Gatehouse itself was so much more than what we expected. So spacious and so well appointed. They have definitely thought of every little thing you need for a wonderful stay. They even spoilt us with cheese and biscuits and supplies on arrival. The hosts were so approachable and they're thoughtfulness was lovely. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, even going to Bunnings late in the afternoon to get a new plug for the heavenly bath so we could totally relax during our stay. We highly recommend staying with these lovely hosts and their beautiful property. "
