Istanbul

The hotel is old and a little tired, but fair for the price. Just under a 10 minute walk from Taksim Square, albeit in a hilly part of the city. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Well, the room was very tiny, bedding doesn’t meet the expectations at all, smelly, lighting in the bathroom is very dim and unadjustable. The staff were awesome, all of them. Overall, not too terrible.

As a single female traveller the location was terrifying. I didnt want to leave the hotel or take a walk around. There were abandoned buildings in front of the hotel and the view from my window looked directly at them.

Very bad location. It is very tiring to walk from the hotel to Taksim. You have to climb about 700m on foot and you only want to walk that route once a day. The refrigerator is extremely loud. The staff is very helpful and friendly.

I've booked Economy Single Room, 1 Double Bed. It was so cold in the Istanbul, some how most of people wore jacket outside. Moreover, hotel's heating system had been inactived and I had to wear number of clothes over each other, all over the time I stayed there. Besides, cigarette's smell was annoying inparticular about who don't smoke. Lack of suitable slippers in the private bathroom and to use of cardboard-cloth slippers could cause to slip if you don't be careful. But the room, mattress and blankets were cleane. Yes. The room was clean and despite of to be unspacious, could provide propare place to stay a few days. I should say that you should change the money before to go the hotel because they don't accept you even if you had paied for some days in advance. Particularly about Iranian, because of sanctions that have eliminated possibility to satisfay primary needs. So it brings situation some unfair people (Iranian or in other nationalities) exploit these conditions to swindle sanctioned people.

The property is closer to Taksim Square and has good breakfast buffet. The room service forgot to clean some days and the biggest issue I faced was the bath tub did not drain well even after I requested it to be fixed. Otherwise it was a good experience overall
