Initially booked to stay at the Grand Naki Hotel for 3 night of a 11 night stay in Istanbul. I was very impressed with the service received from the hotel staff. The room we were given was too small so we asked if we could change we were immediately offered a bigger room without any fuss. Ulvi and Jabir on reception were brilliant and went over and beyond to helped us with all our needs. We decided to stay at the hotel for our whole 11 days. It’s a great hotel and won’t hesitate to stay here again.

Warm and welcoming

The staff are supper friendly and very helpful. They are very happy to assist the guests. For instance, they allowed me to check out an hour late and was able to arrange my transfer last minute at a cheaper rate than the locals. When I wanted to take tablets at night I called the reception and the guy was very helpful and bought me water to my room. They are exceptional and they honestly made my stay very warm and welcoming. Thank you. Also the location is 10/10 literally walking distance to everywhere.

Totally overwhelmed. If you wanna come to Istanbul THIS is a place for you. Location is awesoooome, in 3-4 minutes you are right next to Aya Sofia. Receptionists, kitchen (breakfast) and cleaning crew are doing their job on very high level. Romms are soooo clean and very modern. (I was in a single room with Balcony). I will visit Istanbul again, and I know where to come 👌 Thank you for everything! Harun

Booked a single room with city view. Was put into a basement room with no window on arrival. Key card wasn't' working and manual key was so awkward James Bond would have struggled to get into the room. Safe in the room was also out of action. Hotel looks nothing like the photos on website. Massively disappointing.

Cheap and clean only

1. Staff communication skills are poor due to language barrier. 2. Looking after the customer request is beyond our dreams! I have reported in my first hour that the safe is not working as the battery dead and the room phone doesn’t work also. My three days stay over and no one attended. 3. Ladies staff handling the breakfast (which is already poor) were rude.

Terrible stay

I had a very bad experience at this hotel. For the price I paid, which I personally found expensive, I expected much better. The only time I saw water was the size of a thumbprint when I arrived; otherwise, guests are expected to sort out water themselves. Additionally, the bed was absolutely covered in hair—so much that I had to go down and complain. The receptionist came up and explained it was from the cleaning staff, which is unacceptable. I was also promised breakfast delivered to my room as I was recovering from surgery. However, I didn’t receive breakfast even once during my stay. This hotel is absolutely trash. Avoid it

Die Angestellten waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Check-In und Check-Out gingen in sekundenschnelle. Kaffee und Wasser konnte man jederzeit sich unten mitnehmen. Das Frühstück war leider jeden Tag nur Rührei und Weißbrot mit Aufschnitt. Sehr unangenehm war allerdings das Wasser aus den Leitungen. Es hatte einen sehr unangenehmen Geruch und Geschmack. In umliegenden Hotels oder Bars war das nicht der Fall, dies konnte ich testen, da noch Freunde in der Umgebung waren. Hier ist es notwendig sich Wasser in den nahliegenden Geschäften zu kaufen und es zum Zähneputzen zu nutzen. Die Minibar war defekt und es war nur ein winziger Mülleimer im Badezimmer vorhanden. Leider wurden auch mehrmals die Woche Anlieferungen im Nebengebäude angeliefert, dies dauerte immer 1-2Std und hat für hunderte hupende Autos gesorgt. Nur zum Übernachten ist es okay.
