The hotel facilities were excellent and the view across the river was amazing. The staff are very friendly and the breakfast swimming pool were excellent. It’s also in a perfect location.

It’s fine. A basic hotel that has seen better days. The staff were lovely and really helpful. Location is great for the blue mosque and Topkapi Palace but it’s not in the nicest area of town. The road noise is loud outside. Breakfast is a buffet which is also pretty basic. Not bad but also nothing to write home about.

Breakfast and cleanliness need improvement
Although breakfast included but didn’t have breakfast at all as the first day of breakfast there were flies all around the serving area. Ended up paying outside for breakfast.

The sea view from the hotel as brilliant and location was perfect. Room, staff very friendly. Overall, a lovely. elegant hotel for a very reasonable price, The location and surroundings was wonderful and just next to Sirkeci Station

Verry horrific hotel
The most horrific horrors experience ever terrible room mattresses run down bed bathroom minibar. they say water not drinkibal, if it is not how can we wash with it or clean our mouth. Very very bad place. Very bad breakfast. The only good thing is lication and kind staff. But it doesnt make up for the slepless night or no breakfast you have to go out for a descent one.

Nice clean, safe and modern hotel and friendly staff. My rooms view was negative, concrete. It didn't bother me since I went out to experience Istanbul most of the times. Close to TopKapi and other historical buildings.

We stayed at Askoc during the last two nights of our visit to Istanbul and it was ok. Apparently it had been newly renovated, but it didn't stand out as an amazing hotel. The water temperature in the shower fluctuated from scalding hot to luke warm while showering, the shower doors didnt fully close, and the bed was rather soft. However, the hotel staff were very kind and accommodating when we needed to arrange for our airport shuttle and an early breakfast. The breakfast, also underwhelming. We noticed that things in Istanbul aren't quite up to the standards we have from visiting other places, so from that perspective this was probably a fantastic hotel. However, the first few nights of our stay we stayed in a much cheaper hotel and it was just as nice but the location wasn't quite as good. Overall, if you're considering staying at the Askoc it is clean and the staff are friendly. Also, the turkish bath/sauna were nice, but again, just not up to the standards that a Swiss and American are used to.

Stayed 2 nights. Very good location. Nice view from the terrace but it was empty. People were coming to the terrace for a smoke only. Room was very small, but the biggest disappointment was breakfast. Breakfast area was too small to fit all hotel guests, there were simply no tables (both mornings).

Good Stay. Brilliant Location. Recommended.
The stay was good. The hotel is less than 100 meters from Tram Station (Sirkeci) and even lesser from metro station (Maramaray Line - Sirkeci Station). The Eminonu dock is less than a KM (for Bosphorus boat ride and other ferry for local travel). Hotel staff is courteous and can speak English. Facilities at the hotel are good.
