"Beautiful views! Glamping tents were so spacious and the kitchenette was so well appointed. Michelle was very welcoming and even built a fire for roasting marshmallows. A great alternative choice for staying near Alice Springs. Only 10 minutes from town. We stayed in July, which was pretty cold in the mornings though we did sleep warm with comforters and electric blankets. "While Alice Springs is a bit rough and tumble, The Diplomat offers an affordable Oasis in the heart of this town. Easy walk to a couple of shopping areas and points of interests and easy pickup for the tour companies. You can certainly go other places for food (definitely recommend The Bakery), but their cafe and tavern are top notch! Great menu and excellent dinner options in the pub.
