Excellent hotel and restaurant right on the harbour front. Large modern renovated room, classy furnishing, new condition. Professional friendly staff. This is a city-style hotel, full service. Room naming is mis-leading: "Loft" is standard single-story hotel room with street view. Tariff was above our budget, but worth it for the quality stay.

Very accommodating host. Nice place, clean room, great staff. Our second time staying with them. We'll be back.

Accommodations was really good & we had a meal at the pub next door that was great.

We were here for nearly 2 weeks & couldn’t fault anything. We walked everywhere with plenty to see in the city area. Enjoyed the harbour & river walks. The staff were all friendly & helpful. The room was a good size & excellent shower. Having a kettle was great for tea & coffee. The view of the Orwell River was nice.

Overall we had a fantastic experience staying at this hotel.

Nicely refurbished hotel, clean and comfortable rooms, except that the heating was quite hot all night. Apart from that everything was fine. Breakfast was excellent. A huge variety and as much as you wanted. Very kind and obliging service. A five minute walk to the railway station.

The hotel was beautiful with lovely gardens and the staff were amazing. We lost our key and required extra toiletries, nothing was too much trouble. The desk was manned all night which was great because we returned early hours of the morning and had lost our key, we were able to get a new key. The room was clean but there was no mini-bar or fridge for cold water or milk etc. There is a lovely eating area downstairs and breakfast was included which was a buffet, and there is a friendly bar as...
