Rooms had all we needed though a little squishy with luggage. Staff was friendly. Make sure you put the decorative throws somewhere she can see them or she will chase down your car and cut into your travel itinerary.
Loved our stay very friendly and welcomeing loved the diffrent styles of rooms it was one of the reasons we choose to stay here. Very clean and brilliant friendly atmosphere at breakfast which had so much to choose from will definitely be back highly recommended 😊
We really enjoyed our stay here. The property was clean, our room was very clean and comfortable. We had stayed 10 days around the country and this was by far our most comfortable stay. The beds were very comfortable. One thing that I didn’t think would make a big deal was the fact that the shades on the windows made the room very dark. We visited during June and it was light a lot and we had a hard time adjusting to the new time zone and that actually helped us sleep better than we had before during our stay. We had a very nice breakfast downstairs that was included. The owner was very friendly and nice and very welcoming. The property was also in a good location to explore Inverness! Loved our stay here and would definitely stay again if we come back!
Mandy the owner was brilliant with those extra unexpected touches, like the water and wine in the room, and the cakes left for us on our second night, the whole place was very clean and the breakfast and choice was great.
Loved our stay at the Gleninver Guest house. Our host was very attentive to our needs and suggested local places in town to make our experience even more enjoyable. Breakfast was wonderful with specific dietary accommodations for us. The breakfast "diner" was unique as was the decorations of each room. Although the hot tub wasn't available (due to covid restraints), our overall experience was fantastic and would recommend to any travelers.
Stayed here for five nights and wouldn't hesitate to book again. Host Mandy was unbelievably welcoming and helpful going above and beyond to make our stay memorable.
For a small B&B the facilities in our room were amazing. The bed was comfortable and, being set back from the main Fort William Road, there was little traffic noise.
Breakfast? - Superb! All you could ask for. Location was just right for us, just a pleasant 15/20 minute walk to town centre alongside the river.
Thank you Mandy for all you did for us and for making our stay so pleasurable,
Had lovely stay here room was so comfortable and breakfast was lovely too😊 Mandy was a lovely host and so inviting, would highly recommend!! Thanks for having us☺️
Lovely, Mandy is so friendly and a wonderful host. The room was very clean and the bed so comfy. Thanks for the complimentary bubbly and chocolate, much appreciated. Very nice breakfast in the amazing diner. We'd happily recommend and hope to stay again.
Really lovely B&B very comfortable bed haven’t slept so well in years beautiful cooked breakfast everything you could have wanted and more! Mandy was a very lovely host couldn’t do anymore for you ! And we will definitely be staying again.
We had a really great stay at the Gleninver Guest House, we stayed three nights over a Loch Ness Marathon weekend a nothing was to much for Mandy the owner during such a busy event.
It was clean, beautifully decorated and we had a bath n our private bathroom as well. We had two breakfasts there and both times we asked for dippy soft boiled eggs and soldiers and they were all cooked just right too.
The guest house is 10 minutes walk from Inverness city centre (which we really liked), 5 minutes walk from the river and Bught Park (handy for the marathon) and 20 minutes drive to the Loch Ness Visitors Centre so really well positioned.
We would definitely go back when we’re back in the highlands
We stayed in the champagne-themed room for two - which is decorated quirkily and nicely as shown in the photos. However, the "private" bathroom is not en-suite (it's actually across the hall), and "other guests are not meant to use it" - which was far from reassuring, especially since the door didn't actually lock from the outside. There was no mobile service in the room. Upon arriving in the evening, we were expected to know what we wanted to have for breakfast the next day and to state the exact time we'd be having breakfast. Had no service in the room and the WIFI password was unclear so it took ages to connect. The owners also live in the house. In retrospect, would much rather have spent the same amount of money to stay at a local Premier Inn, where I know what to expect and have more privacy since this experience felt more like we were staying in a hostel. First time in a B&B so perhaps this is typical, but I would caution prospective visitors to go in with the right expectations to avoid disappointment.
Stylisch eingerichtet.
The owners of this guest house were very friendly and very easy to chat to. They met all of our requests and were happy to help us. The room was very cosy and the complimentary fridge filled with drinks in the hallway was an added bonus. Shower could have been more powerful but it was not a massive problem seeing as the room was very nice. Parking was a bit tight but it can be done.
Un accueil au top dans ce b&b à la déco kitsch super amusante, les enfants ont adoré et ont été très bien accueillis. Le petit déjeuner était parfait, très copieux et très bon. Nous y retournerons sans hésiter!
Very friendly and couldn’t do enough to make our short stay great and make us feel welcome. Beers, sparkling wine or water, as a welcome in the communal fridge was a nice touch and whatever you wanted for breakfast was no problem. Also, a pleasant 10 minute walk along the river to Inverness town centre.

Die Unterkunft war ok. Die Frau ist sehr nett und hat sich sehr viel Mühe gegeben. Es entsprach nich ganz unserem Geschmack und das Zimmer war recht eng für 4 Personen.
