Quaint and Cozy
Just a fantastic find! Such a quaint and cozy hotel in a very quiet and beautiful area. The staff was very friendly throughout our entire stay. The room was spacious, clean and had everything needed. The restaurant and bar was very good with plenty of selections to choose from. I definitely recommend the Invergarry Hotel.

Nice hotel in Invergarry, convenient location if you are planning to drive onto Skye the next day. Not much to do in town but the hotel has an excellent restaurant and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and adequate but a bit dated and not as luxurious as some. Overall nice hotel stay and good price.

A lovely country hotel which is beautifully decorated and fitted out. The restaurant was also very nice and staff were very friendly.

Only stayed the one night but I found it a enjoyable stay, comfortable, clean. Staff were very nice, frendly and foid was very good. Wouldnt hesitate to go back

The hotel industry has had really tough times and I realise its not easy to keep costs down but this is not what I was expecting for nearly £200 a night. I was going to give three stars but then I saw the replies to previous negative reviews which again I don't think are very professional. I am sure I will receive the same treatment. On the plus side staffing was good and the breakfast was decent. However, the room was really very uncomfortable with little room because of the layout. The shower had a very variable temperature. There was a fair amount of road noise. The overall feel was dated and shabby. The same negative comments have recurred repeated but instead of being addressed they just get a sharp reply from the manager. I understand the place is up for sale - I can see why! Avoid.

Pete - you actually paid 156.60 a night which includes 15% commissions to your booking agent.Your room had restricted room as you booked a small double for a multi night stay. Small doubles are .................. drum roll ..................small doubles and we actually put in the room description that they are perhaps less suitable for multi night stays or persons travelling with extra luggage. You being from USA travelling to Scotland on a multi night stay obviously decided that this did not apply to you ? We have larger rooms available should a customer want to book them. But oh no - its our fault the room was therefore a little small for you.Interesting you chose to mark us further down because of my responses - brilliant ! a perfectly educated reason for a keyboard warrior.Our feedback scores speak for themselves, its just I wont tolerate or back down to rediculous feedback at times and keyboard warriors dont like that, brave species that they are.Dated and shabby is perhaps something you spotted in the mirror Pete ?

We only spent one night but we really enjoyed it. Very cute and quaint, also such a nice breakfast. We had the waffles and it turned out to be one of the best breakfasts of our entire trip. The bed was very comfy comfortable and the staff were friendly, professional and helpful. If we’re ever near Invergarry we would absolutely stay again.

Excellent hotel; great service from the start - Arrived early and was allowed to check in as soon as we arrive. Delicious food, party of 4 all ordered different dishes for evening meal and breakfast and they were all delicious. Room was clean and spacious, shower was a bit small but other than that great.

What a great place!!
The staff were all outstanding - very friendly and welcoming. The food was excellent, both breakfast and dinner meals. We stayed here for four days and had a great time.

the staff were very welcoming and friendly, room was great. The only thing that dampened our stay was the breakfast. I asked for toast (1 round) and it arrived with one side black, I asked for it to be replaced with properly cooked toast which appeared within less than a minute but was quite cold. I believe, but can't be sure but the toast that arrived at another guests table looked suspiciously like the one I had sent back. The egg that arrived on my plate was solid and inedible, the sausage was anemic and barley cooked. I don't believe that the standard of cooked breakfast I received was well below par expected from a 4 star hotel

Hello anonymous reviewer I'm sorry that you felt this way, I remember you as the toast was returned and I can honestly say its the first time thats happened this year, hence why I remember it. We simply replaced it immediately and no mention was made to us about the breakfast not being cooked to your satisfaction. And no - the toast was not distributed to another table - why would we do that ? I am the owner of the Hotel and served you myself. No mention was made to me as I served you. Breakfast is something we always have great feedback on and I am sorry if this was not the case with yourself. If it had been brought to my attention I would have replaced it immediately - without sharing with the other tables of course !

A very comfortable hotel, friendly and pleasant. Good location near the river and woodland. Despite being on the main road it doesn’t feel noisy. Wi-fi available in lounge, common areas as well as the rooms on the first floor. Rooms were well furnished and the full hot breakfast was good with vegetarian options.

Friendly run hotel in a good location for ferry to Skye. Very comfy beds, and good fish and chip supper in the restaurant.

Lovely hotel, friendly staff nice bar, restaurant and beer garden. Cosy room, very clean and a perfect place to stop off if touring the highlands although I wish we were able to stay longer. Good walks from the hotel door step.

Great hotel
This hotel is well located for the Isle of Skye (approximately 1 hour drive) and Loch Ness. It is a very homely hotel with friendly staff and good food. Our room was clean and comfortable. I think we will be back.
