There was a noticeable chlorine smell that was a bit strong at times, and the room could definitely use some updates or minor improvements. Still, it had a welcoming feel that made it easy to settle in. The grounds were very well maintained, which added to the overall charm of the property. One standout feature was how incredibly easy the check-in and check-out process was—quick, smooth, and hassle-free. Parking was a bit of a downside, as space is limited, so that’s something to keep in mind if you’re driving. Overall, if you’re looking for a place with an unbeatable location at a great price, The Drift Hotel is a fantastic choice. "The hotel itself was classic Ritz. Beautiful property, great room, attentive staff. The only negative callout is that the beach area is not private for Ritz guests so you get random people setting up next to you, listening to loud music, having family picnics, etc. There were also vendors that periodically came by offering food, drinks, etc. "

"I had to ask three times just to get some extra pillows brought to the room. Eventually the person at the front desk ran them to the room herself.But this was after I waited over eight hours. We were in the marina side, and the room itself was in worse shape than most motel sixes, i've been in. This property definitely needs a facelift. The pool area was nice, but the DJ was so loud that you couldn't have a conversation with someone without yelling. "
