The Westin Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort

"The King size bed in the large room was large and next to the room of family. The connector door did not work and locked shut. Had to call in for towels as only one set available at times at either room. But kept clean with housekeeping. View is amazing. The walking tunnel bridge above the street is convenient from pool level nd accesses the beach by elevator and steps, right into sand.the day fees cover two beach laungers (no umbrella, umbrellas available for $30/day. No noise at all. Bedding amazing. Water and apples offered daily and upon arrival. In room couch/seating comfortable. Veranda is amazing. We had two rooms- one king bed room with one person occupancy and second room had two people in two double beds in second room occupancy. Staff Herenez was, professional, smiled, welcoming, respectful and accommedating by meeting my requests of needs for both rooms upon arrival. Valet was amazing and professional. Restaurant was slow service, yet female bar tender was amazing. Great views!"

"The resort itself was beautiful—the pool area, lobby, restaurant, and overall property were gorgeous. The front desk staff who checked me in were also incredible and made a great first impression. That being said, the beds were incredibly uncomfortable and honestly didn’t match the quality of the rest of the resort at all. The drink service on the beach was also disappointing. Spending $23 for a weak drink with melted ice, plus a $6 surcharge, felt ridiculous. What really got me, though, was paying a resort fee and still not having internet included. At this price point, that’s pretty hard to justify. There was a lot I loved about the property itself, but between the uncomfortable beds, overpriced drinks, and added fees, I wouldn’t stay here again. If those things aren’t a deal breaker for you, its a cool spot."

"This place was amazing! I truly enjoyed myself and would most definitely visit again. The staff was so welcoming and gave great recommendations for food and drinks. The beach access was a 10/10! My only disappointment was that the main pool area was closed during my stay. I really wish I had received a notification about this beforehand, since the pool was one of the main reasons I booked the hotel. Other than that, I had a great experience and would absolutely stay here again!"
