We had an excellent stay and even held our wedding ceremony on the property- it was a beautiful location for photos! We dined at both on-site restaurants, and we were especially blown away by the food and service at MAASS. The caviar and chips were incredible, and we couldn’t get enough of the fresh tuna. Overall, both the service and food were outstanding, and we will definitely stay again.

We stay at many Four Seasons properties around the world. As a caveat, I understand that they are many times separately owned and depending on how you book (directly, agent, other third party) - you may be treated slightly different or receive different perks. However, with all that said, when the resort is basically empty, they should offer an upgrade - especially when you spend significantly across the brand annually. I didn’t tell them this, and certainly shouldn’t have to, they should know. Specific to this property, there were aspects that actually seemed a bit outdated / rundown for a property that is really not that old (several years). The bathrooms near pool and in Evelyn’s smelled like a zoo. The patio at Evelyn’s has holes in its outdoor retracting cover and it leaks during times when it rains. The lobby is very underwhelming and not having a proper bar there is a bit disappointing - especially when they designed this place from ground up - it was a miss. The food choices overall were a bit boring. Once through the menu was enough for me. Service at the pool was extremely slow and the pool was undersized for the property. The staff was generally nice. Our room had a shower that was clogged and filled up with water. They use Le Labo which is nice and bed / pillows were comfortable. The good news, it’s a less pricy property than many others, but in many ways I don’t feel is as much on brand, especially since it’s newly built.
