Absolutely the best stay in Miami for a quaint weekend. Parking on site (not needed), walk to beach (a block away), 24hr convenience store nearby, a lot of amenities near and great communication from the owner. We loved it! The bed is absolutely comfortable and has full kitchen, fridge, freezer, microwave - just like a small apartment. It is outdated but it adds to the charm.

We selected the Laguna hotel primarily for its location and positive online reviews. The spot is excellent—slightly off the main strip, which meant the beach right in front stayed much quieter and less crowded compared to busier areas nearby. Unfortunately, the hotel itself fell far short of expectations. It feels dated and dingy, clearly in need of significant updates and better maintenance. Cleanliness was a major issue; our bathroom had hair scattered across the floor, and the overall condition was run-down. It's a classic case of putting lipstick on a pig—superficial appeal that doesn't hold up under closer inspection. The shower was particularly disappointing: tiny, with barely any hot water and very low pressure. We booked two rooms, and both had similar problems. The only real bright spot was the comfortable, clean beds. Shared outdoor tables and chairs are available for guests, but they're often left messy and dirty by previous users, making them unusable without cleanup. The host was friendly and communicated promptly, which was appreciated. However, given the condition of the property and the price we paid, I wouldn't choose to stay here again.

First of all the property is not on the beach. It is on a street behind the Broadwalk. Great location though. Short walk to the beach. The property is old but is in pretty good shape. The bed was comfortable and everything worked in the kitchen. Our keyless door lock did not work from day one. Marco came out and changed the battery in it. It worked for day and quit again. Luckily Marco also gave me a key. Lack of hot water in the shower was an issue the entire stay. Overall our stay was good but there are probably better options in the area.
