"Atmospheric Chateau but in need of a little upgrading. Staff were great and very helpful. Grounds were excellent to walk round. Breakfast was quite reasonable but dinner was poor value. Definitely plan on eating out. Rooms were huge but our bathroom had only a bath with no shower which given how big it was seemed a little strange. The Chateau is dog friendly which we appreciate and overall we enjoyed our stay "

"Our experience with this stay was our favorite. The proprietor was so nice, very willing and happy to share his love of the place and how much he loved making the property sustainable. We would stay there again for sure. Our one regret was that we only stayed one night. Oliviiet helped us get a reservation at a beautiful restaurant near the chateau and kept in touch with us to make sure we got there. A truly lovely man and gentleman. "A lovely hotel, just a short walk from the town centre, castle etc. Restaurant food was good - had tasting menu. Staff very friendly and helpful. Dog friendly even in the restaurant. So many good places to eat in the town aswell. Quiet relaxing gardens. "
