"Beautiful historic hotel continues to shine. Modestly sized rooms but the ocean facing ones directly overlook the Gateway of India and have a small balcony. I'd choose the less expensive Tower rooms that give you the same experience as the older historic building. All in all a magnificent hotel that fully lives up to its reputation for overall excellence. "
"The hotel is in a good location and has some history, but had no doubt seen better days. The bed was comfortable, although the room only offered a small, frosted window, v so I could only tell if it was day or night and one what the weather was like if I heard pouring rain. The staff are helpful and welcoming"
"Really enjoyed our stay! The staff were very helpful. Close to some great restaurants that you can easily walk to, and the food is good. Very touristy. Downside was the hotel need a bit of maintenance. "

"Immaculate hotel.
Amazing staff who are without exception, friendly, efficient and go above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic stay.
Special thanks to Durva for her wonderful check-in and hospitality.
If we come back to Mumbai we would stay nowhere else!"
"The staff were excellent. Really helpful and attentive. Rooms were nice and clean however the outside of the building is dirty and underwhelming. The cafe is excellent as is food and staff in it Worth visit"
"We loved stayed at the Marine Plaza, we had a sea view room with an outstanding view of Marine Drive and the Mumbai sunsets.
Rooms were clean, staff frieand helpful and the food was lovely.
Ubers were very easy to get directly outside the hotel but also walkable to the Gateway of India."
"This place is like going back in time yet being in the center of things in a bustling city. I wish I could have done more. I enjoyed the short time we had. The staff and services, dining and room service were great."

"The staff at the Trident were excellent, probably the best in any hotel I’ve ever stayed. I had an accident in Mumbai and had to extend my stay, the staff looked after me, sent flowers to my room and were incredible in making sure all my needs were taken care of which was most appreciated. "

"Third time I stayed here. Came back after 20 years. Incredible level of hospitality but not the Royal standard of 20 years ago due to far more guests. "
