"Beautiful historic hotel continues to shine. Modestly sized rooms but the ocean facing ones directly overlook the Gateway of India and have a small balcony. I'd choose the less expensive Tower rooms that give you the same experience as the older historic building. All in all a magnificent hotel that fully lives up to its reputation for overall excellence. "

"The hotel is in a good location and has some history, but had no doubt seen better days. The bed was comfortable, although the room only offered a small, frosted window, v so I could only tell if it was day or night and one what the weather was like if I heard pouring rain.
