"Really nice hotel with spa and pool. Parking on hotel site is no necessary as you can park on the street behind the hotel. Very nice and friendly personnel."

"Liked being away from the city and close to the Mangroves walk.
Loved the little shop so a night in with snacks and meals was easy.
Very helpful staff even if little English was spoken, we managed :-)"

"Sandra, with the aid of Google Translate made us feel welcome and at ease straight away. The cottage we stayed in was quirky, very clean and well-equipped including free WiFi. Local facilities aren't so good, you'll definitely need a car and the local beaches aren't ideal for swimming or snorkelling but there is a pool to lounge in and around. Noumea is about half an hour drive away and there are some museums and things to do there.
Overall we had a great stay and would definitely stay there...

"The location was great, right near bus stops, in between the bays, easy walk to restaurants and cafes and beaches. The apartments were very poorly maintained though, for example the door lock was practically falling off, a kitchen drawer did fall off, etc."

"Very enjoyable experience staying at the Gondwana Hotel in Noumea. The staff were excellent; friendly, welcoming and helpful. The morning breakfast was enjoyable and the location provided an excellent base from which to explore this lovely part of New Caledonia."

Check out Ile aux Canards island and Anse Vata Beach—just two of the sights around Ilot Maitre, a city also notable for its island views and snorkelling.
We stayed in Premium Overwater Bungalow for 6 nights. Was amazing, advertising photos don't really do the location justice. Paradise. Lots of marine life and turtles. Nice beaches, water sports. Can free boat transfer back to mainland on the many trips on the island ferry. Everything was amazing.

Located at Anse Vata right in the tourist area, Le Lagon was a great choice for staying in Noumea. The pool was great, and we enjoyed a great breakfast buffet. The staff were friendly and helpful, and meals could be bought downstairs to be microwaved in the room. A patisserie and small super market are nearby as well as all the shops at the Hilton complex. Free Wi-Fi as well!

We stayed at the Hilton for 8 days and enjoyed every minute. The views from the balcony were breathtaking, the rooms were very clean and the beds were really comfortable. I'm glad we had the kitchen as there are plenty of food stores close by where you can by fresh bread and all you need to make most meals as eating out for our family of 5 was quite expensive.

Brilliant Faultless
Traveled and stayed at the Le Meridien Noumea between the 1-8th March 2015.
We arrived after midnight, tired and hot ! On our first contact with the very efficient Night Duty Manger we are smiling, very happy, nothing was a problem.
We had a wonderful just revamped room (513) with ocean views, and it was divine! cool and luxurious! Even though the hotel was going through upgrade renovations at the time, there was no disturbance at all.

Gondwana was terrific - from the warm welcome and patient assistance with my terrible French (which in practice meant putting anything remotely complicated into English so I could butcher their beautiful language with my replies) to the impeccable cleanliness and constant good cheer, they really go out of their way to give you a pleasant stay. The suite has a private balcony with a lovely little garden that looks over the neighbourhood and across the bay from the 6th floor. There’s a communal...

Our room was spotless, very comfortable, tea and coffee facilities and our balcony looked out onto the beach across the road. Even though the hotel is on the main road and in a busy night-club area Friday nights, there was no noticeable noise. All staff were very kind and helpful. There was off-street parking. There was nothing more we could have asked for - except that breakfast recommended at the café next door was far too expensive so we went elsewhere for half the price.

I booked the room for my aunty who travelled solo and she enjoyed her stay very much. The staff was very attentive, looked after her, went above and beyond, everything was perfect. The hotel was very well located and it was easy for her to explore the surroundings by foot. I will not hesitate to book the same hotel in the future for myself or recommend it to my family and friends. The staff was also very responsive to my messages - excellent communication. Very satisfied overall.

My second trip to Noumea in 8 months staying at The Ramada Suites. Staff more than pleasant and helpful. Was there for a special birthday celebration and celebrated in the revolving restaurant - menu limited but food excellent as well as view. Will return again in August for the Clarke Cup Horse race.

Great accommodation, was conveniently located for my stay. I can recommend the Restaurant for meals. Room was great, had everything I needed for my 2 week stay including washing machine & dryer. Free wifi that worked well. Will definitely book there again.

This is the second time my wife and I have stayed at The Casa Del Sole recently due to our touring schedule in New Caledonia. All Staff were very welcoming and helpful with our needs. Some basic facts that previous guests have not done their homework relating to the room facilities and have subsequently rated this venue low because of this.

Hotel is isolated from the main centre of Noumea and one will need a car to get around although there is a bus stop about 10min walk from the hotel. Hotel staff were courteous and obliging. Room was kept in good order and was spacious, with good view over lagoon. Many restaurants and tourist office nearby on waterfront. Electric jug and refrigerator made it simple to prepare a light meal to eat on the balcony. A microwave oven would be even better! This is provided in the two star section of the hotel complex but not the three star!
