The room is really large, as is the balcony. The price we paid was very economical, so we felt we got what we paid for. The staff at the sports bar were particularly lovely! I think the pool surrounds should be updated - perhaps pave it so you aren't walking through dirt to get into the pool. But the pool is lovely once you are in.

Room was superb - spacious, with a separate living area, a full kitchen, beautiful views and balcony in a great location near the beach, shops and restaurants of Anse Vata. However, not serviced at all — without that being made clear when booking. By the end of a week the room felt dusty and neglected. Also no support or flexibility to check in the early afternoon after a long haul flight.

Location was ideal for us, walkable to shops, restaurants. Hotel facilities good and prices in hotel bar and restaurant better priced then others outside hotel. Could of done with more staff at peak times, service slow. Towels and some kitchen facilities abit tired or missing, could do with moderising. Overall though a great stay, would use again.

Great stay

We have stayed at the Ramada three times. We like the position in a quieter part of Anse Vata but its still very easy to get to everywhere. The rooms we had were spacious and the service excellent. We will stay here next time.

Great sized apartment in convenient location

Had a great stay at the Ramada. We stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment. Great views from the balcony. Big sized apartments - older style but well maintained. Very friendly staff. Easy walk to the beach and restaurants. Will definitely stay again.

The views from the balcony and the bedrooms were fantastic. The furniture were a bit outdated but functional. It was also nice to have the washing machine inside the apartment. Overall we had a very nice stay. We recommend Ramada for family vacation.

Very responsive to all of our requests when we needed anything. It is necessary to ask for new towels, extra toilet paper etc. Beautiful views from our apartment with a lovely terrace to sit outside. Apartment had everything we needed and the laundry was especially welcome. Just ask for washing tablets.

We prefer family friendly apartment hotel in our travel. This one met our requirements (with some caveats). We spent 2 weeks in a 2-bedroom 1-bathroom with fully equipped kitchen apartment For the plus side: - Its location was perfect within walking distance to beach, restaurants, supermarkets, car rentals, etc. One of our two balconies had sea view - We had a good washer (no dryer though) - Very nice, friendly & accommodating staff - Good Internet access throughout the complex with a generous 30G/day allowance (up to 6 devices) - Functional gym with small number of equipment & weights. No water provided though. - An OK swimming pool On the minus side: - Dated apartment in need of renovation or better maintenance - Lighting was dim throughout the apartment, not sufficient for work or reading - Cockroaches in the kitchen (& sometimes in the bathroom) but there's no insect spray even when asked at reception - Bath towels & bed linens were old & worn out Overall it would be a great place to stay if those minor issues are addressed

Staff were friendly although only 3 seemed to have a grasp of English but they tried. Good location, shops and restaurants within a 5 min walk. Sports bar was a good option if you didn't want to go out. However, in my stay of 2 weeks the room was only serviced ONCE. When I and my friends queried when our rooms were going to be serviced we were told one service per week. So I said we should be getting 2 services for 2 weeks. We were told if we wanted an 'extra' service it would cost us 6000xpf! If you wanted your bins emptied you had to take them down to the basement and dump them. Toilet paper, garbage bags, towels, tea bags/coffee, anything else had to be asked for at the reception and taken up yourself. Sometimes a housekeeper would deliver it. Tea bags/coffee were treated like gold and only 2-3 given out when asked for. If you wanted your sheets changed out of the once a week cycle you had to do it yourself. Stay at the Hilton down the road is my recommendation.

I liked the staff, all friendly. I liked that the hotel was 5 minute's walk from the beach. Nice pool. However, I didn't like that no room services were cleaning because we stayed for five nights. We needed to call reception to ask for bin bags, clean towels and a coffee sachet. TV was old and not a smart TV. Also, I wouldn't say I liked to pay for a service that was not utilised. E.g., shutter bus There was no energy from 1100am to 1700hrs on our last day.

This is a lovely hotel and I really enjoyed my 3 night vacation here, though I do have notes. 1. The facilités and location are the best in Noumea. 2. The beachside bar and thus any outside nice area was blocked off for an event 2 of the 3 nights. This should NOT happen at a high end venue. You also need to cater to your guests. Partition the area or create a second bar away from the event area if need be. 3. It was very difficult to get service around the pool even when you asked. Please address this. 4. We had a 20000 credit but only knew of this in departure!! So we wasted about 130 AUD 5. Lots of flies at the breakfast bar on the food. Need to find a way to sort this. 6. Excellent wifi

Hotel could use a renovation, installations are very outdated and not greatest quality. Room floor was not cleaned properly, kitchen utensils set not complete so it was hard to cook and pans of very bad quality. They only offer to clean the room after the 5th night, which is a bit too much. Staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating.
