"Firstly, all the staff were amazing and a pleasure to have them help us. They all brought happiness and kindness to our stay. Specially given that they were working during Tet. I have stayed in many hotels and the Hotel du Lac Signature stands out amongst the top 10 much like their sister property in Saigon. There was not one aspect that did not stand out with exceptionalism. Highly recommend planning your stay here in Hanoi. A superb hotel and clearly worthy of 5 Stars. "

"The hotel is right on the heart of the Old Quarter next to Saint Joseph’s Cathedral, a short walk from Hoan Kiem Lake. Breakfast at level 9 is a sumptuous affair with Western and Vietnamese dishes. Staff are very helpful and friendly. "

"We loved our stay at this hotel. The staff is just amazing and so personable. The rooms are generous in size with a very comfortable bed. We stayed one night at this hotel while touring Hanoi and then used this hotel as our base as we traveled to back and forth to Sapa and Halong Bay. Because would miss breakfast since took a night train, the hotel staff provided us with boxed meal for the train. Such a nice welcome back both times and rooms were ready with our stored luggage already in room. The manager and other staff greeted us by name the entire time which is quite impressive. Breakfast buffet was delicious with lots of offerings and additionally could special order from menu. Everything was delicious. Personal service with coffee as well was a very nice touch as used to self serve. Highly recommend the Royal Palace Hotel. Conveniently located in old quarter for walking to shopping and dining. "
