My expectations were well exceeded by the fit out and finish of the property, the size and space and practical appointments for this accommodation. A modern bathroom complimented the more traditional cottage feel and there was also a washing machine that was very timely at this stage of my holiday. "This cottage is so nice you won't want to leave the house. The layout is perfect and incredibly functional, and the style is pristine and tasteful. There is a laminated guidebook with info about the appliances, temp control, amenities, nearby hikes. Everything was in stock, everything worked. "We stayed at the Wavesong Cottage for one week. It's big enough for a family of 5-6 and offers a cosy and spacious livingroom with a fireplace. In case of requests the host answers quickly. Pennan is a small village and the neighbours are very friendly. We enjoyed our time there."

"Beautiful home away from home in the country. Gorgeous Scottish scenery out every window. A great private location with a fully stocked kitchen etc. If you are coming from abroad be prepared for a short narrow drive from the nearest town but we'll worth it. We were sad to leave.."
