"No beach view from are room, you can pay extra if important to you, we had king size room which was fine, hotel in good center position, breakfast not overwhelming and can get busy had to wait for a table,"

"The only saving grace of this hotel is the location; it is literally steps away from the seaside. I was in Brighton for a conference and everywhere else was fully booked, so I didn't have much choice. Having read the reviews beforehand, I was already skeptical, and unfortunately, my experience confirmed my fears. I certainly won't be back. ​While the room was clean, it was freezing because the heating wasn't working. Since there are no phones in the rooms, I had to walk all the way to reception to complain. I was told they had "switched off" the heating and was offered a mini electric heater instead. For the price they charge per night, this is unacceptable. Furthermore, the room layout felt "off"—the floor had a noticeable dip/slope and wasn't level. I didn't try the breakfast, but I’m glad I didn’t; walking past the restaurant counter, the food did not look nice at all. Only stay here if you are desperate."
