"Overall our stay was pleasant. Location is perfect for the beach and town. Parking is tricky and definitely for one very small car as stated. Well equipped clean kitchen, good fridge and freezer space, coffee machine was not working so that was disappointing, but overall very nice. "Luxurious yet comfortable, had pretty much everything you might need for a lovely staycation (could do with a microwave though for warming things up!). Ideally situated for visiting Sussex’s coastal towns and inland City of Chichester and historic town of Arundel. Beach is a pebble beach, and sadly full of seaweed when we visited so we couldn’t get to the water without getting covered in the stuff, but that can’t be helped. Lovely stay overall! "

"They "prefer" cash. No cleaning in 4 days, bedding not changed, bin not emptied. Door between rooms not closing completely, flushing system in the toilet sometimes work sometimes not. We wanted to stay one more night and we've been asked for £100 or if we pay in cash only £90. After few conversations they reduced to 70 than to 60. Told them we won't pay more than 50 and they preferred to have the room empty instead dropping 10 more."

"Lovely hotel with a great view. We had a corner suite and the welcome gin was appreciated, shame only the tonic was replaced on day 2. Room service was delicious. Be warned it is £10 per person per day to use the spa if you haven't booked direct - this is hidden away on the hotel description (unlike other charges which were easy to see up front!)"

"We arrived early and welcomed by 2 lovely ladies in reception . Parking can be tight so we asked their advice and they directed us to capark at back . I had requested the room with walk in shower and that was sorted. Sea view room was so clean and new carpet . Breakfast was cooked to order and very goid"

"We recently stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton Brighton Metropole and had a lovely overall experience. The location is fantastic, right on the seafront and within easy walking distance of Brighton’s attractions, restaurants, and shops. Our room was comfortable and clean, and all of the staff we interacted with were friendly, professional, and helpful throughout our stay. The only downside was the check-in experience. The hotel was extremely busy, and there were large numbers of guests waiting for their rooms and room keys. Our room wasn’t ready until close to the stated check-in time, and when we did receive our key, we were initially assigned a room that wasn’t what we had booked. However, after returning to reception, the staff resolved the issue and were lovely to deal with despite how busy they were. It really seemed that the team had their hands full during peak check-in time, so the delays felt more like a capacity issue than a service issue. Once we were settled in, the rest of our stay was excellent. We’d happily stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a great seafront hotel in Brighton."
