"We had to move rooms twice because the rooms were dirty. The first room the carpets/floor hadn't been cleaned, there was crumbs of food all over the floor and on the chair within the room. We informed the front desk, who were actually very good, and were told it would be cleaned by the time we were back from a walk. It hadn't been cleaned some 5 hours later so they move us. "Room was spacious and classically furnished. Some of the furniture, drapery, and lobby finishes were a bit worn, but to be expected in an older, historic hotel. The staff was friendly and accommodating and spoke English which made check-in and out easier. I would stay at this hotel again. "

"Prado Hotel Shanghai 3-10 Feb 2019 Reception was ok and quick. As it was Chinese New Year, things seemed rather quiet. The room was somewhat funky as is the general hotel design. The room met expectations and was relatively quiet, though the rubbish truck that came at about 6.00 am was a bit noisy.
