"If you’re after a few little extras or that special bottle of wine, it’s all in the mini bar. At a reasonable price too. Great place if you don’t want to spend a lot of time at the property. "

"We had an accessible room which was huge, containing a kitchenette which had microwave, fridge, dishwasher and stove. But there was no where to sit and eat. There was only a low coffee table, desk and one chair! There was plenty of room in the corner for a round table and chairs. The accessible shower was missing one curtain which caused water to go over bathroom floor. Just little things that would of made stay more enjoyable. Otherwise would reccomend the hotel."

"Ambleside is a great little getaway for the family. Beautifully set out two bedroom apartment with all necessities a home away from home requires. The pool is a perfect way to unwind & soak in the glorious views of Mt Panorama. The homemade cookies and breakfast hamper are the perfect touch to complete your stay. This place is a 10 out of 10, can’t wait to go back. "

"Expedia took our booking when Story Bank is closed. We tried to call a number we found but there was no answer. We drove to Mandurama and had no response so We had to return to Blayney a distance of 29km and find somewhere to stay the night there. We need a refund of $112.50 which was taken from our Mastercard account. This could have been avoided if Expedia had not taken the booking. A very unpleasant experience!!"

"The host was good but the amenities were not very clean. Hair and soap scum through the bath and shower and there was hair in the bed linen which seemed it might not have been changed since the last guests. There were insufficient towels. No washers and no hand towels until we found one small brown towel in the dryer which could have been a hand towel or a cleaning rag. Also the soap containers in the bathroom were empty. Would be good to check in with the cleaners as to what their practices are. "

"The property was lovely and had a amazing views. It was large enough and had manh rooms with ensuites. The kitchen was stocked well with cooking utensils and other household items. There were was a pool and tennis court that we greatly enjoyed. The host is very responsive and lovely people.A couple things that would have made our stay more enjoyable is having air con in the bedrooms. The bedrooms get very hot and no fans were provided. Also if you go in summer be aware that there are many bugs on the property especially at night. One bedroom and bathroom was outside the main hosue and had lots of bugs. The toilet seat in the bathroom in the downstairs ensuite was also faulty."
