"Newpark was a great place to stay for our family ski trip. The staff cleaned the room each day, and we commented that it was the most thorough daily cleaning we've ever experienced. The location near walkable restaurants and grocery stores was much appreciated. The only con we saw was that the Kimball Junction shuttle at the hotel didn't start running until 9 AM so if you wanted to catch a bus to the ski areas early, you'd have to walk to the Transit Center. "

"I stay at this property every year when I ski . This year housekeeping was terrible. The bathrooms were filthy with urine satins around the toilet and the sink counter top was not wiped during daily cleaning. This made me distrust the rest of the room was properly cleaned. I was disappointed and I’ll consider other hotels for my next visit. "

"It appears not many guests. This is b/w winter and summer, and not too many travel to the mountains. Hotel looks downscaled, but it is in great condition, and we got good value. "

"Great location and very friendly staff. Short walk to a local bus stop that goes to Alta/Snowbird and very close to the Park and Ride that goes to the same locations and other major ski areas. Also, 8+ good restaurants, bars/grills and a ski shop within 1/2 mile or less. Decent breakfast too."
