"The hotel is in a great location, easy access to granite island and the restaurants in town. The room was large and comfortable. The bed, however, was a bit too soft and felt like sleeping in a hole (at least on one side of the bed) the shower temperature was hard to moderate, but did have enough hot water. We liked the sitting area in our ocean view room. "

Host was quick to communicate when we had questions pre trip.and check in was easy.Some cleanliness issues in the kitchen but host was informed.A beautiful place to stay with friends or family and would recommend."

"We arrived to check in about 2:10pm, reception was closed & I had to ring a phone number to get the guy out to give me the key. The room was a disappointment upon opening the door, smelly, crumbs on the bench, large sticky spot on the table. Furnishings were all very old, cracks in the walls, mould around the room & bathroom. We left the room until we absolutely had to return to change to go out for our function. After getting back from our function we turned on the tv to find it broken in the corner & lines running down the screen to the bottom. Only 1 pillow each, no spares. Neighbours screaming at each other & crying at 10pm. Heard a smoke alarm go off twice during the night. Woke up to have a shower and leave immediately this morning to find there was not enough water pressure for the water to spray out, it just dribbled out. Was cold for a few minutes before it finally came warm enough for me to get in only for it to turn freezing cold again within 2 minutes before I could wash off my soap! I exited this place in tears. Worse stay I've ever had anywhere in my entire life."
